Every look into the future holds imponderables. The pandemic has thrown our original plans for the "A Friday in the Future" writing competition out of kilter. Unfortunately, it is not possible to invite the winners to drupa in Düsseldorf and celebrate them appropriately at the trade fair - the trade fair has been postponed until 2024.

On 27.10. the new digital platform drupa preview will open at 10 a.m.
drupa, the world's leading trade fair for printing technologies, has decided to reduce the duration of the trade fair from eleven to nine days for 2021.
Here we are again: 364 days before drupa. The new date of April 20 - 30, 2021 is now firmly noted in the international calendar.
In mid-March, the postponement of the world's leading trade fair drupa was announced until April 20-30, 2021, due to the exponential spread of the coronavirus.
The drupa planned for 16-26 June 2020 will be postponed until 20-30 April 2021. In doing so, Messe Düsseldorf is following the recommendation of the crisis management team of the German government to take into account the principles of the Robert Koch Institute when assessing the risks of major events. Based on this recommendation and the recent significant increase in the number of people infected with the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), including in Europe, Messe Düsseldorf has reassessed the situation. In addition, there is the general ruling issued by the state capital of Düsseldorf on 11 March 2020, in which major events with more than 1,000 participants present at the same time are generally prohibited.
